God has given me some amazing opportunities and experiences as I lived my life as a pastor’s wife and mother of six. Admittedly, my journey has been a bumpy one, from the life changing decision to adopt 4 boys into our beautiful family, to homeschooling, and the eventual death of a spouse. The journey has also been full of imperfections, yet full of His grace. Through it all God continues to prove His faithfulness in every area of my life and never leaves me without a song to write and sing. I am so grateful for this continuous God-adventure and the daily experience of His mercy and redemptive hand.

I have also been a worship leader and songwriter for many years. I’ve led worship in several venues across the United States and internationally, and the one thing that never changes, no matter where I am, is the thirst I have for a closer more intimate relationship with God.



I believe that’s why the Psalmist wrote,“You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory" Ps 63:1-7 (NIV)



I have made a personal commitment never to leave His presence less than mesmerized and longing for more. Day-to-day ‘life’ makes meeting with him sometime quite the challenge, yet I am excited each time the challenge is met. You see, I’ve come to realize His delight is to have me in His presence. He waits for each of us to come to Him all throughout the day and night.


I want to invite you to come and drink from the well that will never run dry. My heart’s deepest desire is to bring peace to hurting and broken hearts, and healing and comfort to those with physical disease and illnesses through music written and conducted by the Holy Spirit. His music therapy is a healing balm for all who need it.


Come and know him at a deeper, more intimate level. Soak in His presence and let the sweet sounds of His song sweep over your heart, and soul. Let it refresh and heal you. Let’s meet Him together, He is the perfect, ever attentive lover of our souls, and He never grows tired of our company.

Mari currently leads worship for her small group meetings and has led worship in several venues across the United States and internationally.



Songwriting



Mari has many years writing praise and worship songs. She put out her first album in 2004, and is currently working on the follow up.



Motivational Speaking



For the past 25 years, Mari has also enjoyed speaking to and encouraging women's groups with the God adventure she has been on for much of her life.



Soaking Ministry



Mari was part of the soaking prayer ministry at The Worship Center in Durham, NC, where she lead weekly for 3 years.



She also helps lead worship at soaking retreat weekends, and is available for group and individual soaking sessions upon request.

Currently, Mari serves on the worship team at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Raleigh, NC.
